The Future of DACA and the new DAPA

This past week the United States Supreme Court heard oral arguments from the State of Texas (and other states including Kansas) and the Obama administration regarding President Obama’s Executive Action for DAPA and expanded DACA. It is expected that there will be a decision on the case sometime this summer–in late June or early July. If the Court rules against the States and upholds Obama’s executive action, people could potentially start applying for DAPA and DACA right away. But is that a good idea?
